About Ashanti

Ashanti Thompson is a senior at the University of Mary Washington. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts in English: Creative Writing and will graduate May 2026. She is an avid fiction writer, budding poet, and artist.

 
After working on her university’s literary journal, Rappahannock Review, Ashanti has developed a love for the more technical sides of creative writing such as copy editing.
